In late 1976, several cat lovers in Beverly Shores met and joined forces. Their dream? To form a society which would be dedicated to rescuing abandoned and abused cats, give these animals the best affordable medical care, including neutering, and house these animals in a cageless, no-kill shelter with pleasant, clean surroundings and caring personnel.
In March of 1977, that dream became a reality, and 50 years later, their mission continues.Next year, ICS invites you to help us celebrate our golden anniversary on May 1, 2027 for our special ”Whiskers and Wishes” Gala.
